Designer at White & Case LLP

September 2014 – Present | New York, NY

It's been an incredible honor to be a part of such a reputable firm and to be a contributing factor in establishing the firm's recent rebrand. Being an in-house designer has challenged me to see design in a whole new perspective and to truly be creative in the confines of the brand. The challenges I face have encouraged me to share my knowledge and past experience to establish efficient processes within my team. I have been exposed to a world of international networks, where creative efforts are shared around the globe to enhance the brand identity as one firm with a singular message.

Contract Designer at Time Inc.

May 2014 – September 2014 | New York, NY

As a contract designer, I had the honor of working with highly reputable companies such as Time, Inc. and Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, as well as working for a boutique branding agency in the heart of Manhattan. Designing on a contract basis gave me the opportunity to create spreads in People and Sports Illustrated, as well as redesign the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business website with a small handful of designers. For a couple months I contracted with a small branding agency where I was given the opportunity to rebrand their mobile and desktop site along with establishing their brand standards in a well thought-out and detailed style guide.

Being a part of projects from the start to finish allowed me to be a valuable asset to the team and contribute to the development and framework for new projects. Customizing our strategic approach based on individual client's needs challenged me to be flexible, while working quickly and efficiently to enhance a brand's identity.

Print & Web Designer at Think Tank, Inc.

Contracting for Think Tank allowed me to work out-of-office, with the exception of occasionally meeting clients to develop a holistic design strategy. Some of the larger projects I had the opportunity to work on involved the creation of a corporate logo, a website for a well-established modeling agency and designing/illustrating a book that was published nationwide for a retired NFL player.

Jr. Designer at Leverage Digital

November 2012 – May 2013 | Tampa, FL

As a graphic designer for Leverage Digital, my job was primarily creating web and print based design using the Adobe Creative Suite. Working for this agency was a great learning experience, and I was challenged to persistently incorporate the latest trends in design into my approach. It was my responsibility to see projects from start to finish and stick to strict and timely deadlines. Researching and following popular trends allowed me to excel in design by pushing myself to create innovative UX/UI design that served the purpose of being both functional and aesthetically appealing.
